Update on prayer request from a writer

February 2nd, 2015
Hi everyone - Here's an update on Larry. We're praising God and continuing to keep Maile in our prayers ... I want to thank you and everyone for their prayers, Maile has woke up, about three days ago, at first she was very confused, this comes with the state she was in, as of today she is back to normal, she has so many doctors working with her, I call them team Greco, they are all doing the best they can for her, she should be coming home next week, and then the very long haul starts, it takes a year minimum to get on the list for a new liver transplant . . .

Question on Moses’ inclusion of Gentiles in covenant relationship

January 30th, 2015
Byron Earnheart January 29, 2015 Question for myself...my best friend and I are reading Calvin's "Institutes" this year and discussing. Got to Book 1 C8 Sec 7 where Moses is defended and Calvin brings up Moses' inclusion of the Gentiles into covenant relationship. Is he referring to Gen 17:9-14 or is there something else I'm missing? Did Moses, in his speech or writings explicitly include Gentiles in the covenant? Like · Seen by 23 Ed Chait likes this. Tim White . . .

Question on marriage

January 27th, 2015
Wendyl Leslie January 27, 2015 Just received an interesting question and need your advice before answering. I'm thinking this person is wanting to have sex with his fiancée before marriage because she's dying of cancer. The questioner is apparently wanting to know if this is alright in the eyes of God: "Please help, I am shortly going to marry the love of my life. Sadly, her health is not good (cancer) We may not be able to "consummate" our marriage. To me, I love her so very much, that to me...it doesn't really matter.just . . .

Question on salvation of Pharaoh under whom Joseph served

January 21st, 2015
James Toland January 20, 2015 Grand Rapids, MI Is there any reason to believe that the Pharaoh during the time of Joseph is saved/a believer/went to Heaven, etc? Like · Seen by 29 William Brenner No biblical evidence. 19 hrs · Like Fred Apelquist Hello, all --I guess there is a "possible" reason considering God "hardened" his heart to ignore & persist despite 10 plagues. Who knows? Maybe after 10, God ultimately "softened" his heart and Pharaoh . . .

New Christian ‘starter pack’?

January 19th, 2015
Christopher Dupre January 18, 2015 Do we have a 'starter pack' of resources for new Christians? I guess we all should have one in our hip pocket to give, but I don't. Like · Seen by 30 Ed Chait, Lincoln Bostick and 2 others like this. Tim White Ditto. I am still looking for that right one. I usually tell new converts to go through the Book of John with a journal asking one question: Who is Jesus Christ? Then go through the book of Ephesians and ask one question: . . .

Question on Sweepstakes

January 19th, 2015
Vincent Trigili January 18, 2015 So not sure about this question I just got: "Is it a sin to play publishers clearing house? Where you win 5,000 dollars a week for life. Its free to sign up for it. If I win I would take my tithes out and use the money to better others and myself last. What's so sinful about that?" It is not gambling, because there is no risk (at least I think I remember right that all you do is fill out a form and send it in - I have personally never bothered). So I want to say "No" but they way she . . .
