Note from Gwen for October 2024
Happy October, all! In the US, this is designated as "Pastor Appreciation Month." So, first, a hearty thank you to all of the pastors on our team. We so appreciate what you do for your local flocks. Your hearts to love, lead, teach, and serve are evident in what you do for our questioners as well. And that same heart of love, integrity to God's Word, and service is evident throughout our volunteer team, regardless of vocational role. So thank you each for serving with us and sharing the truth of God's Word with compassion for questioners! It's . . .
As a ministry, we've been thinking through and discussing our
values. In the next months, I'll be highlighting some of those values and
providing specific tips for answering questions. So keep an eye out for that. This
month, we'll talk about discipleship.
DISCIPLESHIP: For us, this means providing content that
encourages spiritual growth and pointing users toward resources, tools, and
opportunities for ongoing spiritual growth and real-world engagement in
Bible-believing church communities.

Just wanted to say thank you for the depth of the answer
you gave to my question. I found the reference to Hebrews 11 in particular very
helpful, and appreciated engaging with many aspects of quite a large question.

Lord's. What a privilege that He invites us to participate and gives us joy in

The work and the glory for Got Questions Ministries are the
Lord's, so we are deeply grateful for you bringing it to Him in prayer! Here
are some specific ways to be praying this month:
1. Praise God for His faithfulness to sustain the ministry,
give participants joy in the work, and bear the fruit. Please pray that God
will continue to provide all that's needed: human resources, financial
resources, favor with search engines, and especially wisdom in stewardship.
Pray that He will direct and that we will be discerning and obedient in
following.

those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one,
just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be
in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The
glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be
one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become
