Note from Gwen: October 2023

October 2nd, 2023
Happy October all! This is an exciting month for the Got Questions Ministries staff as most of us will be spending the first part of October on a tour of Israel. We look forward to what God has in store. We trust He will renew our love for Him and His Word, provide perspective and practical insights about the Bible, and replenish our passion for helping others know Him and love Him. This will also be a wonderful opportunity for deepening team relationships. We so appreciate your prayers for the trip and for the staff who will be staying behind. . . .

From a questioner:  Dear [Volunteer], Thank you so much for your reply! Thank you for your explanation. Yes, it makes sense and I am encouraged by your words. They are kind and helpful for me. Please pray for our eyes to be opened to what God has for us to see, our ears to be tuned to His Spirit, and our hearts to be prepared to respond. Please pray for the entire traveling group to relate well to one another, form bonds, and enjoy sharing lasting memories. Please, of course, also pray for travel safety and good health. Please pray for those who will not be going to Israel, particularly . . .

Scripture for October 2023

October 2nd, 2023
"Listen to me, O house of Jacob,     all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been borne by me from before your birth,     carried from the womb; even to your old age I am he,     and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear;     I will carry and will save. … Remember this and stand firm,     recall it to mind, you transgressors,     remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there . . .
