Note from Gwen for May 2025

May 1st, 2025
Happy May, all! As spring is fully underway and you begin looking ahead to summer, we pray you will be reminded of the goodness and faithfulness of God. This time of year always makes me think of the beauty of new life in Him. It also reminds me of the reality of progressive and continual growth. What starts as a seemingly barren branch begins to sprout buds, which blossom and grow into beautiful and fragrant blooms. What an incredible image of our life in Christ. What was once dead comes to life and gradually grows, continually pointing to our . . .

[Answer Team member], your answer was beautiful, compassionate, understanding, and encouraging in the work for the Lord wisely, I really thank you … [Answer Team member] answered my first question beautifully….. Her beginning response was scripture but a song I know also and since childhood….. SEARCH ME OH GOD 1 Search me, O God, and know my heart today; Try me, O Savior, know my thoughts, I pray. See if there be some wicked way in me; Cleanse me from ev'ry sin and set me free. 2 I praise thee, Lord, for cleansing me from sin; Fulfill . . .

I just want to thank you for your answer. I thought I might have missed something in the Bible. I'm a Christian, so I'm not concerned about it personally. I was just curious. Thank you again. May God bless each of you at GotQuestions with Heaven's best. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your heart felt and Biblical answer to my concern about being forgiven for being embarrassed at witnessing for Jesus. I feel so much better now. And I do and I will pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen and embolden me. Praise God and bless you and this ministry Just . . .

Happy March, all! As I thought about each of us and the things going on in our lives, it struck me that no matter our current season, our anchor is the Lord. Some are in especially busy seasons, for others life feels dull. Some are grieving deep loss, others are rejoicing in new life. Some are in major transition, others an established routine. Regardless, each of us is dependent on the Lord and His strength. He provides all that we need in any and every season. And whether we feel like we’ve “got this” or we’re “in over our heads,” . . .

Thank you so much [Answer Team member] for your kind and encouraging words from gotquestions. When I sent my question I had just returned home from my weekly visit to the prison and I had a very heavy heart concerning what I had shared with you and it was weighing especially heavy that particular evening and I felt that I must bring conviction to my heart if this was the right place for me and you have clarified for me that I am exactly where I need to be! Thank you so much. I can now go with peace and joy in my heart knowing that I am truly doing . . .

Happy February, all! As you look ahead to what this month has in store, Valentine’s Day might be on your mind. I always appreciate that as a reminder of God’s love for us and His call for us to love others. The “love” associations with Valentine’s Day are myriad—ranging from preschool class parties to familial love to friendships to budding romances to the depth of love built in marriages over decades. These can all serve as pictures of God’s love for us. But even the deepest human love we know is only a taste and reflection of the . . .

Thank you so very much for your answer to my question. It's a simple case of, the more I listen and read the bible, the more questions I have. I didn't believe that God would leave the pre Jesus worshipers behind, I just needed to hear it from someone who knew a lot more than me.. Thank you ever so much for your time and a brilliant answer to my question. Words are not enough. Kindest regards, Mark UK X I wanted to thank [AnswerTeam member] for answering my question so thoroughly and with so much kindness. I have begun to go through each reference . . .

Happy 2025 all! It’s amazing to think that another year has begun. If you’re anything like me, you’re joyfully anticipating all God has in store and also feeling a little overwhelmed to turn the calendar and begin afresh. Whether the new year feels promising, daunting, inconsequential, or anything in between, I pray you are encouraged to remember that God is unchanging and faithful. He knows what has gone before and what lies ahead. Even better, He is genuinely with you in each step along the way. Thank you for so faithfully pressing . . .
