Question on God turning Israel over to their enemies

May 12th, 2016
Wendyl Leslie May 10 at 11:32am Okay fellow GQ writers, I need help with this one: "How many times did God turn Israel over to their enemies?" I don't know if there's a definitive answer, but I know it's a bunch. Do any of you have an answer to this one? Thanks much! Discussion on witnessing with just the NT and Psalms

May 12th, 2016
Ed Chait May 9 at 10:06pm What do you guys think about Christians going out witnessing with just the NT and Psalms? What do you think about "Bibles" that omit most of the OT because that makes them more portable? What about leaving this type of "Bible" as a gift to people when going witnessing? Question on having the correct belief of God

May 12th, 2016
Julie Kimani May 9 at 6:28pm · Goodyear, AZ Help me out. Would I be correct in this statement, "Believing in a God that is loving and merciful, while rejecting the idea that He is also a God of justice who WILL punish sin is to believe in a different God and thus, idolatry." (The questioner asked "Is believing in an incomplete view of God (loving side only) or a wrong view of God idolatry?") Would I be correct in my response, or would having a correct understanding of God as both "merciful" and "just" . . .

Encouraging Testimonial

From Shea - An awesome testimonial we received along with a donation: I can not express to you all how much your ministry means to me. The Holy Spirit has used your Bible based answers to renew my mind to the Truth of God's wonderful plan for believers in Jesus. I am a chaplain volunteer at our Bexar County Jail here in San Antonio. It houses over 4,000 inmates. I started ministering there 6 years ago after retiring from medical practice. I wanted so much to be a fisher of men. I had spent almost forty years going every 6 months for 1-2 weeks . . .

Discussion on Humbling Oneself

May 5th, 2016
Dale Agner May 2 at 6:54am I received a question this weekend that I've been thinking about quite bit, even before I received the question... ..."Hello, The bible tells us to humble ourselves. Also, that God gives grace to the humble (not the other way around-that God humbles those who he has given grace). We know we can do nothing (even have faith or soften our hearts [without God's help]) so how can we humble ourselves?" Like Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry Comment Seen . . .
