1. Praise God for the work He did in people's hearts over Easter. Please pray that the reality of Christ's death and resurrection will linger in people's minds and they will truly know Him as Savior and Lord. If you're interested, we had 586,857 site users on Good Friday and 604,245 site users on Easter Sunday. Pray that God's Word will multiply in their hearts.

Question: Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:20-23. I am confused at the answer given here, and many other places on this topic. Isaiah prophecy was to assure Ahaz that his city would still be standing regardless of the attacks (seeing he is horrible at matters of war and his deceased dad was). How would predicting the birth of a child 730+yrs LATER benefit this king? the prophecy was fulfilled, and in 14yrs his city was . . .
"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
