Thank you so much [Answer Team member] for your kind and encouraging words from gotquestions. When I sent my question I had just returned home from my weekly visit to the prison and I had a very heavy heart concerning what I had shared with you and it was weighing especially heavy that particular evening and I felt that I must bring conviction to my heart if this was the right place for me and you have clarified for me that I am exactly where I need to be! Thank you so much. I can now go with peace and joy in my heart knowing that I am truly doing His work according to His will! Thank you so much! [Questioner Name] I also want to tell that the elders in my church (there is no pastor) have always encouraged me with my work in the prison and the pastor at the prison always encourages me as well in my visits.
Thank you for your answer to my question. Very helpful and concise. Have a blessed day
Thank you so much for your thorough answer! I just had a catch in my spirit when looking at [author’s] books, and then [personality] quoted and recommended her in the recent book, [title]. I was disappointed, because I had reservations about this method of prayer. Thx for helping me understand and think through this issue!
Thank you for your thoughtful and complete answer! Blessings as you keep helping us with clear answers. I especially appreciate Got Questions because my pastor past away 3 years ago and we have a fantastic, younger pastor with children and many times I do not want to interrupt his family with my many questions. Also, I have no husband to bounce questions off of. I am a widow. Got Questions is a fantastic help for me. Keep up the much needed work!
Not a question but a thank you for your answer to my question. I did not think the Bible ever said anything about retiring from serving the Lord. Thank you as now I can give my answer to that question when someone says they have retired let someone else serve. I am 75 and intend to serve my Lord Jesus until He calls me home!!! I teach two classes visit the homebound plus attend a BS class and I do it all because of my love for my Lord Jesus and what he has done and still does for me!!! I don’t understand anyone saying they have retired from serving our Lord Jesus. Thank you for a very good answer! God Bless You!!!
Just want to express my gratitude to [Answer Team member], who answered my original question. I often reread his response, especially during one of the pain episodes. Thank you [Answer Team member] for your ministry in gotquestions.org.
Thanks for the answer on Daniel. As for my friend a decision has been made. I actually learned from this as well so I will be able to answer better if it comes up again. Thank you and God bless.
