There have been many "prophecies" for my country that a huge earthquake is to come and that a tsunami will follow, destroying most of the island. However, many of these "prophecies are inconsistent in some details. What do you think?

Question: I watched a speaker on apologetics explain how slavery in the Old Testament was not the same kind of slavery we've had in America. He stated it was a much better life for them back then. I began to read Exodus. Once I got to 21:20-21 I can't see how he came to the conclusion that was better. It speaks of beating your slave and if they don't die within two days it's ok.
