GQM Value Spotlight – Discipleship

October 1st, 2024
As a ministry, we've been thinking through and discussing our values. In the next months, I'll be highlighting some of those values and providing specific tips for answering questions. DISCIPLESHIP: For us, this means providing content that encourages spiritual growth and pointing users toward resources, tools, and opportunities for ongoing spiritual growth and real-world engagement in Bible-believing church communities. Every question you receive is an opportunity . . .

Thank you for taking the time to respond kindly to my concerns! I will definitely be thinking about what you said. Thanks again for taking the time to respond! Just wanted to say thank you for the depth of the answer you gave to my question. I found the reference to Hebrews 11 in particular very helpful, and appreciated engaging with many aspects of quite a large question. I feel a bit better about it now, and will continue to explore the depths of it but found this a very helpful first step, so thank you I just want to say thank you for . . .

** This response is right on theme for our focus on discipleship this month and a good reminder that the work is ultimately the Lord's. The work and the glory for Got Questions Ministries are the Lord's, so we are deeply grateful for you bringing it to Him in prayer! Here are some specific ways to be praying this month: 1. Praise God for His faithfulness to sustain the ministry, give participants joy in the work, and bear the fruit. Please pray that God will continue to provide all that's needed: human resources, financial resources, favor with search engines, and especially wisdom in stewardship. Pray that He will direct and that we will be discerning and obedient in following. . . .

Scripture for October 2024

October 1st, 2024
"I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Father, . . .

Note from Gwen for September 2024

September 3rd, 2024
Autumn will officially begin this month, and for many of us that means so will various groups and activities. Often the beginning of new things or return to routine brings a welcomed sense of normalcy. It's good to be back with friends and to perhaps more intentionally re-engage our minds. What strikes me is the "first-day-of-school" sense of anticipation that seems to be retained through adulthood. What might be in store in the new? What growth will spark from a return to groups that took a summer break? It's often a joy to wonder and look ahead . . .
