Help with a Question on Christians wearing skulls

June 16th, 2015
Justin Tilghman June 16, 2015 · Kinston, NC Would appreciate other's thoughts on this one: Question:Can Christians wear skulls? clothing, rings etc. My gut says there is nothing explicitly against it but there's really no benefit to it either, but I can't find anything in Scripture to "support" it. The only thing that comes to mind is Leviticus 19:28 but I don't know if that really applies. Like · Comment Seen by 20 Ed Romero and Ed Chait like this. Christopher . . .

Help with a Question regarding the day of Jesus’ crucifixion

June 16th, 2015
Ed Romero June 16, 2015 Regis, I'd like to use a lifeline. Question 405809: You say in an article (Which day was Jesus crucified?) that Jesus was crucified on a Friday. That is utterly impossible! Here's why: A Friday crucifixion means that Friday was the preparation day (13 Nisan) John 19: 31 says he was killed NOT on the High Holy Day of Passover but on the preparation day which preceded it. If that day was Friday it makes the next day both the weekly sabbath AND the high day of Passover. Correct? BUT that would make . . .

Discussion on Spiritual Gifts

June 14th, 2015
Tim White June 13 at 3:03pm Hmmmmm..... I just got a question on spiritual gifts. Before I jump into it, I have to mention that probably my understanding of spiritual gifts and the falacy of they way it is taught now may not align with the ministry's position. I will answer it to the best of my understanding if you wish. Like · Comment Seen by 49 Ed Chait and David Yanni like this. Question on parents kissing their children on the lips

June 11th, 2015
Hope McCullough June 11, 2015 Had a question for you all. I was assigned a question about whether it is wrong to kiss your child on the lips. Any opinions? Like · Comment Seen by 31 Stuart Mattfield Not inherently...no...IMHO. Age, comfort level, etc. all will play a factor. 23 hrs · Like Scott D. Got Questions in action

James Turner June 8 at 10:49am I had a meeting at work this morning with a gentleman who helps veterans who are hard to employ (felons, homeless, etc) get jobs. In the midst of our conversation he was talking about how he likes to interject his faith into his work and in conversations with clients to share the gospel. Then he said that sometimes people ask him questions he doesn't know how to answer. When that happens he said he goes to GotQuestions.org for help answering questions because they always have easy to understand . . .

Question about the Law and Sin

June 10th, 2015
John McPhaill June 7 at 10:37am And here is had, for me, a perplexity (which moves in one of my questions): If it is that sin in its concentrated definition "is the transgression of the law" (I John 3:4), how then can Paul so say "sin is not imputed when there is no law" (Romans 5:13)? For surely the law imputes, and doubtlessly sin is transgression of the law, but if this is so then how can there be one without the other as the apostle implies--sin before Moses (e.g., Genesis 4:7), but no law before him. Question on the Duggar Situation and how parents with sons and daughters should handle talking about sexuality

June 7th, 2015
Jed Kramer June 5 at 1:03pm Parenting question: I just requested reassignment on a question dealing with the recent Duggar controversy since I was blissfully unaware of the issue until yesterday. I ended up watching a few interviews & read many online article comments. I have an 11yr old son and a 14yr old daughter. In light of Matthew 10:16, I want to raise them in such a way that they are both innocent and shrewd. It seems that our sexualized culture will likely heighten current teenagers' curios... See . . .
