November 3rd, 2014
Robbie Holmes November 3 at 3:59am Hi Guys n Gals, just a thought on the weekly GQ question on "What does the Bible say about ghosts / hauntings?" as I read it I thought of the witch at Endor and the spirit of Samuel as an example of the spirit of a dead person revisiting the living world. I know this was an exception allowed by God but wondered if the article should include this rather than say " If the term means “spirits of people who have died,” the answer is “no.” " ....even if just to clarify . . .

Employee of the Month: MELISSA HOUDMANN

November 2nd, 2014
We realized we never formally introduced you all to MeLissa Houdmann, Shea's wife, longtime officemate, and now officially a staff member of GotQuestions.org. She's pretty great 🙂   MeLissa was raised in Iowa where her parents managed Raccoon River Bible Camp, a Christian summer camp for kids and teens. She enjoyed her childhood very much and learned the value of hard work. As a child, she accepted God's gift of salvation and began growing in Him.   MeLissa later attended Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO, receiving a degree . . .

Giving Thanks for You!

November 2nd, 2014
In the survey, many of you mentioned the way you see the Holy Spirit at work in the Q&A process and in the ministry in general. It deeply blesses us to join together with you for the advancement of God's Kingdom. And clearly it deeply blesses many of you. The way God blesses us and ministers to us even as He uses us to bless and minister to others never ceases to amaze. Truly our God is worthy of all praise. May He be honored and glorified in your lives this month. May you know His smile and find many reasons to give Him thanks. May His joy . . .

November 1st, 2014
Dean Revell November 1 at 11:12am I dont really ever ask but I am stuck with a recent enquiry. I am looking for some guidance how to best deal with a young christian who appears to have 'secretly' married his childhood sweetheart because the state law says that marriage is only considered legal from 18 onwards. He states that he and his girl looked long and hard into the bible seeking whether they should do this or not but felt that the law was unjust and so decided to go ahead and marry, despite what the law says. Now, . . .

Q&A Help – Women and Intelligence

November 1st, 2014
Timothy Craig Munger 9 hrs I usually don't write about the questions I get, but this one demands it. What do you think of this? --- --- Asia Question Text Ive always wondered why God gave women intelligence and reasoning skills. God created women as servants to men,you dont need advanced intelligence to understand simple commands. Wouldnt it be more beneficial for women to be less intelligent? Additionally women were created to glorify men, why does god seek worship from women as well? Women were created to bear children . . .
