Eleven years ago, my daughter MeLissa and her husband Shea asked me to consider answering questions for GotQuestions.org. They were struggling to answer the increasing number of questions that they were receiving in the early days of the ministry. I was pastoring a small church in Iowa and also had a full time job at a local public school. I didn’t have a lot of extra time, but would give it a try. I did not type or use the internet at all, but my wife was very capable, so we teamed up on the job. We answered a few questions assigned to us and decided our calling was to answer Bible related questions regarding a specific verse. We signed up for 3 questions a week and have delivered on that promise most of the time.

It met a need in my life of serving the Lord on a world-wide stage. I still enjoy this opportunity to serve the Lord on a daily basis in my retirement and it keeps my wife’s fingers nimble on those computer keys.
