Thank you for praying! Here are some specific requests for this month: 1. Praise God for His faithfulness in 2024! Scripture for January 2025

January 2nd, 2025
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart,     and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him,     and he will make straight your paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6). “Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built” . . .

Selected Notes of Appreciation from December 2024

January 2nd, 2025
After receiving an answer: I surrendered and reconciled with Christ as my Lord and Savior. I feel more free than ever. I decided to give up the drinking and drugs and finally admitted I can't do this my way any longer that I need Jesus like I always knew I did deep down. I know it's gonna be tough sometimes but I feel joy and security when I remember I don't have to go through life anymore alone and depressed. I remember now that, I have my God with me and I can always trust and count on Him which I do. I thank you for telling me what you told . . .

Happy Advent all! This is often a season of joyful anticipation as we think about celebrating the birth of our Messiah and long for His return. For those who light advent candles, the gradual increase of the light reminds us of the stunning reality that Jesus, the Light of the World, has come. Yet this is also often a season of darkness. There is no shortage of things over which our hearts ache, and we are keenly aware that this world is not ultimately our home. Whether this newsletter finds you rejoicing in the Light of the World or feeling overcome . . .
