It’s like archaeology’s cosmological counterpart, if you will. It’s what was the basis of Ernest L Martin’s “Birth of Christ Recalculated” book, where he claimed Christ was born on the evening of September 11 (I think), 3 BC, based on what was stated in the bible: when Star of Bethlehem appeared, date of Herod’s funeral, etc. I read the book about 20 years ago. It was fascinating. But if you Google (or Gurgle, as my wife & I like to say) Christological Astronomy you get a bunch of stuff which might help.
