Help with a question on restoration of the apostles

What are your thoughts regarding the following question …
“WHAT does the restoration in the acts of the apostle is all about?”

-Is this asking about the personal restoration that occurs within each person upon salvation and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit?
-Is it the restoration of all mankind that was initiated on the cross and will come to fruition when Christ returns?
-Or, is it about the restoration movement?

I touched on all 3 areas in my response. I figured that one of you might see something in the question that I missed.

  • Ed Chait It could also be about these verses:

Act_1:6 So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

Act_15:16 “‘After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it,
  • Jed Kramer Thanks, Ed. Yeah, it helps a lot when questioners give the verse(s) they’re asking about. I used Acts 1:6 in my response. Based on Jesus’ response to that question, the ‘restoration’ referenced seems to be Jesus’ triumphal return. It seems like the Acts 15:16 verse refers to the restoration of the Lord’s favor for all who are saved by the Messiah. But, I didn’t use 15:16.
