GQM NETWORK UPDATE: Thank you so much for your prayers for the launch of new design features across the GQM network ministry sites! We’re very close and expectant for what God has in store. Our stretch goal for launch was January, but the technical requirements to get all the pieces in place meant we needed a bit more time. We’re hopeful these changes will go live in February.
Why make these changes? To glorify God and reach people for Christ by providing biblical answers to spiritually-related questions. The new design features are intended to help site visitors have easier access to all the GQM resources. We have a ton of content, and we want to be good stewards who help our visitors easily arrive at the content they need and alert them to content they might not have known is available. Of course, our desire is that the content will help people better know and love God. So ultimately, it’s about sharing God’s truth in love for the good of people and the glory of God.
What do the design changes entail? In addition to the ministry sites having consistent header options to make for simple navigation and a familiar feel across the GQM network, we’re adding a network navigation bar to each site. This is essentially a colorful dropdown menu that provides quick access to each of the ministry sites.
What other changes are included? We’re opening the Q&A system to every ministry site! This means visitors won’t need to come to GotQuestions.org to be able to submit questions to us; they can do it from anywhere in the GQM network. We’re not sure what this will mean for our question volume, and we’re so grateful we have this amazing Answer Team to rely on. We know that whatever site questioners come from, you will meet them with truth and love. So thank you for making this possible!
COMPELLINGTRUTH.ORG UPDATE: Our reimagined vision of CompellingTruth.org has been a huge undertaking with contributions from many. We’re so excited for what’s in store! The site has a special focus on discipleship, complete with reflection and engagement questions on each article. As a total overhaul and as the first ministry site to include the brand-new GQM design features, this launch has also been delayed until February. Your continued prayers for the launch, the team behind the scenes, and particularly visitors to the site are much appreciated. May God use it to draw others into deeper relationship with Himself, clearer knowledge of truth, and greater love for others!
