How do we reconcile Christians starving to death in light of Christ’s promises of provision? Like · Reply · 15 hrs Tim White This equates to the question of why God allows Christians to suffer illnesses, such as cancer, ms, md, aids… It is appointed once for men to die, and God never promised that the appointment would not come a certain way. We will suffer. We will die. Whether it is of a painful disease or hunger, that is not our prerogative. It is God’s and we submit to His appointment, His way. If there was an umbrella of protection against starvation for believers because they are believing, people would believe for the insurance against starvation. Jesus saw people believing for the benefits and called it incomplete faith. Like · Reply · 1 · 15 hrs
