A “question” from May 3, 2015:  “I was born and raised a Catholic and my parents sent me to Catholic school for my whole life. We attended mass every Sunday, and my mother also sent me to Bible studies at Catholic churches for the past few years. I was a devout Catholic and followed all the things the Catholic church taught. When Protestants would tell me that what the Catholic church taught was wrong, I got very defensive and thought that what I was doing was right. Now, I realize that Catholicism is a false religion and I was ignorant not to realize these things long before. I began studying the Bible and I noticed that some of the things the Catholic church practiced were wrong, such as: confessing sins to a priest, worshipping Mary and saints, idolatry (the pope, rosaries, and statues), and many other things. I was in denial for a very long time, but I recently mustered enough courage to walk away from the Catholic church and the tangle of lies in which I was living in. Thank God I walked away early at the age of 18! I found your website and read many of the articles in which you explain in a kind way how Catholicism is a false religion and it has really helped me. I want to thank you all and let you know that I am living a new life as a Protestant!”
