Question on Paul’s Shipwreck March 8th, 2015 Allen Skipper March 7, 2015 I had to pass on my question about Paul’s shipwreck. I researched it for many hours but got frustrated because I couldn’t find much reliable evidence, and I couldn’t find anything about it on gotquestions. Now, I’m curious about it. I wanted so much to answer it, and I did lots of research. But I just couldn’t get the words out…I guess a serious case of writer’s block. 3 hrs · Like Dale Agner There is a book specifically on the shipwreck, by a Christian author whom states he met people whom had found a Roman shipwreck with weights/anchors correct for the period/time. The location is not at the “present day sign” located in Malta…but another location that has reefs-waves matchingt he description during stormy weather. Robert “Bob” Cornuke is the author…and wrote “The Lost Shipwreck of Paul”. He is an amateur archeologist that has spent much time in the biblical lands. I personally spent 2 years exploring the biblical sites of Turkey…and his book is consistent with what I saw/read/learned while exploring ancient sites. The account seems accurate to describe the finding of an ancient shipwreck that is roughly the same period and not inconsistent with what we find in Acts…though we are unable to truly confirm if it is the same shipwreck. The book is an interesting read…though one cannot truly stake a claim to be the authentic shipwreck of Paul. 3 hrs · Like · 1 Steve Ray Webb Interesting stuff
