Dear [Answer Team Member], thank you soooo much for taking the time to read my questions and answering them with so much care and love and leading me to trust in Christ more. I am wanting to grow in my faith and your input and willingness to pray for me and the people I love has inspired me to not grow weary and give up. I know that nothing is impossible for God. Thank you for praying for my family and for the person who called me a martyr! God bless. Dear [Answer Team Member], Thank you so much for the COMFORTING answers to my question. I needed . . .

Note from Gwen for August 2024

August 1st, 2024
Happy August, all! I've been thinking lately about the power of God's Word. Truly it is a treasure trove, and we will never fully plumb the depths. I love how God makes His Word alive to us; passages we've read hundreds of times take on new meaning to encourage us, spur us on, correct us, or give us direction at just the right time. Familiar favorites direct our steps and consistently remind us of truth. And, of course, not-so-familiar passages do the same. As 2 Timothy 3:16–17 says, Scripture is certainly quite useful. It is no mere instruction manual; . . .

I also want to thank you so much for this ministry. It's helped me get a much better understanding of things I used to feel very uncertain about. I'm sure it has deepened the faith of many Christians and will continue to do so! Wow, thanks for the response, definitely insightful. I have no new question I just wanted to thank you for acknowledging my question and taking time out of your busy schedule to give me a very good and comprehensive answer. Blessings!! Thank you, several things you mentioned were already in my mind and reading your answer . . .

Note from Gwen for July 2024

Happy July, all! Freedom often seems to be the theme of this month. What a gift to know that our truest freedom is found in Christ. In Him, we are free from the penalty of sin and no longer slaves to sin or to fear. We are free to live out God's design as slaves to righteousness, and more than that, as beloved children. We are free to experience that which is truly life, knowing that final restoration and fullness of freedom awaits in eternity. Recently, I had the privilege of sitting at my dad's bedside with my mom and sister as he made his way . . .

Note from Gwen for June 2024

June 3rd, 2024
Happy June all! It's hard to believe that we're almost halfway through 2024. As I look back on the first part of the year, I am in awe of God's faithfulness. He is, of course, always at work and ever faithful. I don't know what circumstances this newsletter finds you in, but I do know that God sees you and that He is with you in this season. I pray that you see clear evidence of that reality—through His Word, through His people, and in creation. If summer includes a change of pace for you, I'd encourage you to take some intentional time to . . .

Not really a question but wanted to say thank you to [Writer] for her wonderful response to my initial question. She answered it and backed it up with scripture. Thank you for being a place of refuge for people with questions when they don't know who to ask. Again thank you so much. God bless all of you tremendously. [Writer], I thank you very much for your time in your detailed answer.  First I'd like to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for the answer I was seeking or should I say what I Needed. … Your answer helped . . .

Note from Gwen for May 2024

May 1st, 2024
Happy May, all! Recently I've been thinking about just how stunning the reality of salvation truly is. Ephesians 1:7–10 describes it this way: "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and . . .
