Happy
Advent all! This is often a season of joyful anticipation as we think about
celebrating the birth of our Messiah and long for His return. For those who
light advent candles, the gradual increase of the light reminds us of the
stunning reality that Jesus, the Light of the World, has come. Yet this is also
often a season of darkness. There is no shortage of things over which our
hearts ache, and we are keenly aware that this world is not ultimately our
home.
Whether
this newsletter finds you rejoicing in the Light of the World or feeling
overcome . . .

that He helps us know it. Pray that we will seek truth, be shaped by it, and
share it effectively with others. Pray that the love of Christ will transform
our hearts and that we will reflect His love for others. Pray for all who
