Note from Gwen for April 2025

April 1st, 2025
Happy April, all! I imagine many of us have Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday on our minds. What a truly stunning reality to contemplate: “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). “Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith … for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2). God’s love for us is vast and His rescue astounding. As you prepare your hearts and minds to gather with brothers and sisters in . . .

GQM News and Updates

April 1st, 2025
GQM NETWORK UPDATE: Thank you for your prayers for our new network navigation bar! You may have noticed that every GQM site now has a similarly-styled header. We’re hoping that will give the GQM network a consistent and welcoming feel for users, as well as help make site navigation easier. You likely also noticed that on the left side of each site header there is a multi-colored bar which, when hovered over, gives easy access to all the GQM sites. We’ve had variable feedback on that bar, so there may be more changes in the future. For now, . . .

I just want to thank you for your answer. I thought I might have missed something in the Bible. I'm a Christian, so I'm not concerned about it personally. I was just curious. Thank you again. May God bless each of you at GotQuestions with Heaven's best. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your heart felt and Biblical answer to my concern about being forgiven for being embarrassed at witnessing for Jesus. I feel so much better now. And I do and I will pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen and embolden me. Praise God and bless you and this ministry Just . . .

Praises & Prayer Requests for April 2025

April 1st, 2025
As we often say, the work and the glory are the Lord’s. So thank you for praying! Here are some prompts: 1. Praise God for the reality of who He is and for His redemptive purposes for creation. Pray that all those who are associated with GQM will be newly amazed at the gospel this season. Pray for that wonder to pour over into our communities. Pray also for that wonder to be clearly communicated through the Q&A system and site content so that others may know true life in the Lord as well. 2. Praise God for people searching for truth. . . .

Scripture for April 2025

April 1st, 2025
“For in him [Christ] the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, . . .

Note from Gwen for March 2025

March 4th, 2025
Happy March, all! As I thought about each of us and the things going on in our lives, it struck me that no matter our current season, our anchor is the Lord. Some are in especially busy seasons, for others life feels dull. Some are grieving deep loss, others are rejoicing in new life. Some are in major transition, others an established routine. Regardless, each of us is dependent on the Lord and His strength. He provides all that we need in any and every season. And whether we feel like we’ve “got this” or we’re “in over our heads,” . . .
