Happy May, all! Recently I’ve been thinking about just how stunning the reality of salvation truly is. Ephesians 1:7–10 describes it this way: “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” Sit with that a minute. God “lavished” the “riches” of His grace on us, and this was His plan and purpose! He is the one who wants to unite all things in Christ. He does not call us to Himself begrudgingly, but instead with love. That love is simply astounding! I’d encourage you to take a look at the verses included below, meditate on them, and let the Holy Spirit speak to your heart as you rest in the truth of who God is and what He has done for you.
Then let that truth inform the way you continue to help questioners know and love this incredible God. Truth and love really do go hand-in-hand (Ephesians 4:15; 2 John 1:1–3). You all do an excellent job of sharing the truth of our incredible God with questioners. Thank you for helping individuals know and love God more through the way you serve. And thank you for blessing us in the process!
Thank you for joining with us as we all join with God in the incredible work He is doing. We so love serving with you. May God give you deep joy and genuine rest as you continue to entrust yourselves to Him, pursue truth, and live in His love.
