Scripture for September 2021

September 1st, 2021

“Lord, you have been our dwelling place

    in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth,
    or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
    from everlasting to everlasting you are God” (Psalm 90:1-2, ESV).

“Nevertheless, I am continually with you;
    you hold my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel,
    and afterward you will receive me to glory.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
    And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
    but God is the strengthof my heart and my portion forever” (Psalm 73:23–26, ESV).

“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand” (John 10:28–29, ESV).

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, ESV).

“for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control” (2 Timothy 1:7, ESV).

“Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all timeand now and forever. Amen” (Jude 1:24-25, ESV).
