Praises & Prayer Requests for December 2020

December 1st, 2020

Thank you for praying! Here are some specific requests for this month:

1. Praise God that He is sovereign and that we are His in Christ. Pray for the reality of His presence and the hope, peace, and joy that He gives to be obviously evident to His children this Christmas season, and to those who do not yet know Him. Pray especially for volunteers, contractors, staff, donors, and prayer partners of Got Questions Ministries, as well as their families, friends, and churches, to have abiding joy in Him. Pray also that we will be lights for Christ in our various contexts and that many will come to know Him.

2. Praise God for people who come to the various Got Questions sites and who ask questions. Pray that they will come with tender hearts and hear the truth they need. Pray for volunteers, contract writers, and editors to understand the questions being asked and communicate in the way that is needed. Pray that God will move in the hearts and lives of people. Praise Him for inviting us to be a small part of that.

3. Praise God for His continued provision for and protection of Got Questions Ministries. Pray that He will give us wisdom in how to best steward the resources He entrusts to us. The work belongs to Him; pray for the ministry to truly glorify God.

4. Praise God for a good board meeting last month. Pray for wisdom in direction and planning for 2021. Pray that God’s desires for the ministry would be clear, that we would faithfully follow, and that He will produce the fruit.

5. The holidays and winter can be the most challenging time of the year for many. Given all the struggles of 2020, it seems especially appropriate to be praying for those in need—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—during this time of year. Pray that God will help us be sensitive to the concerns of those who interact with Got Questions and to communicate His love in ways it will be received. Pray for others who are part of the Got Questions family and are struggling in any of these ways. Please be praying this for our interactions in daily life in general, too.

We know many of you are experiencing hardships and heartaches; we would love to hold you up in prayer. We also know many of you have cause for great praise or are launching on new adventures; we would love to rejoice with you and come alongside you in prayer. So please let us know how we can be praying for you.
